Wolverine Girls Hold Hornets to 11 Second Half Points in 54-34 Win

Wadena-Deer Creek won their home game with Frazee on Friday night, beating the Hornets 54-34.  The two teams were tied 23-23 at the end of the first half and the Wolverines held Frazee to just 11 second half points.

Montana Carsten scored 12 points on four 3-pointers and Addy Gravelle contributed 10 points.  Maddie Carsten chipped in with 9.

The Hornets got 23 points from Jayden Sonnenberg.

Wadena-Deer Creek (6-4) will play at Sebeka on Tuesday night.

Frazee (3-8) will travel to Verndale on Monday and will host DGF on Tuesday.
