“This game is one that really shows what it means to be a team,” commented Head Coach Becca Holland of WCA.  “We have focused on playing to each other’s strengths and playing as one.  I have noticed different athletes step up and be a leader when needed and that is really exciting to see.”

The lady Knights made 56.5% (35-62) of their field goal attempts in the game, gathered 40 rebounds and distributed 25 assists on their 35 made baskets.

Macy Grosz led the Knights with 7 assists while adding 4 steals and 9 points, and Staples added 5 assists and 6 rebounds.  Stark and Foslien were the rebound leaders with 8 apiece, and Styba snagged 7 boards while coming up with a team high 7 steals.

The lady Knights are 8-2 heading into a road game against Montevideo on Thursday night.
