“We had a foul fest in the second half with many, many free throws shot by both teams,” stated Perham Head Coach TJ Super. “This was a good win to take sole possession of first place in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference.”
Perham made 18-of-32 from the free throw line and shot 44% (19-43) from the field. They were led by Willow Thiel’s double-double (29 points, 12 rebounds). Kaia Anderson was also in double digits with 12 points, including three 3’s. Cora Grismer finished with 9 points, Olivia Pilgrim had 8 and Mya Morris distributed a team high 5 assists.
No Breckenridge stats were reported.
Breckenridge (9-1) will host Pelican Rapids in another HOL contest on Friday night.
Perham (10-1) will entertain Hawley on Friday.
