Korf's 34 Point Night Carries Vikings Past Nuggets

Morgan Korf scored 34 points to carry the Pelican Rapids girls' basketball team to a 55-51 win over the Hawley Nuggets on Thursday night.  The two teams were tied at 21-21 at the half.  Korf also had 5 rebounds, 2 assists and a team high 4 steals.

Hazel Haugrud joined Korf in double figures with 10 points.  She also had 6 rebounds, 2 assists and a pair of steals.  Kelsey Isaman had a team high 9 rebounds.

Pelican Rapids (9-2) will host Barnesville on Tuesday and play at Breckenridge on Friday in a pair of Heart O' Lakes Conference games.

Hawley (7-3) is home to DGF on Tuesday and will travel to Perham on Friday.
