Four Otters scored 11 points in a 51-46 win over the St. Cloud Crush in a Central Lakes Conference girls’ basketball contest on Thursday night. Jenna Carlson, Karley Braeger, Brynn Sternberg and Cyntreya Lockett all put 11 points in the scorebook. Braeger had a team high 9 rebounds and Sternberg had 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
The Otters led 42-28 when St. Cloud rattled off 10 straight points to pull to within four points. Jayna Benson led the Crush with 19 points.
Fergus Falls Head Coach Josh Steer said, “We played tough against a hard working CLC opponent. They put some good pressure on us went they went on that run but I thought we responded well and showed some composure down the stretch. We had to fight hard for the win.”
Fergus Falls (5-3) will host West Central Area at 2:30pm Saturday.
