Four Yellowjackets Reach Double Figures as Perham Beats DL to Remain Undefeated

Perham led 39-29 at the half and went on to post a 68-51 win over Detroit Lakes in a non-conference boys’ basketball contest on Tuesday night at ‘The Hive’ in Perham.  The Yellowjackets made 54.5% (24-44) of their field goal attempts and drained 10-of-22 (45.5%) from 3-point range.  They also connected on 10-of-13 free throws.

Four Perham players reached double figures, led by Alex Ohm with 24 and Micah Thompson with 19.  Jacob Daniels scored 12 and Soren Anderson added ten.  Top rebounders were Daniels and Thompson with 6 apiece and Ohm with 5.  Thompson and Anderson each had 4 assists.

Mason Carrier and Oliver Quam led DL with 14 and 13 points, respectively.  The Lakers shot 41% (22-54) on the night.

Perham (7-0) will host Pelican Rapids on Friday night in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference contest.
