Perham remained undefeated in girls’ basketball with a 77-55 win over Waconia on Tuesday in the Perham Holiday Tournament at ‘The Hive’.  Mya Morris led the Yellowjackets in scoring, hitting all six of her 3’s and finishing with 24 points.

“Waconia, as a AAAA school, is much better than their record indicates,” stated Perham Head coach TJ Super.  “They play a very difficult schedule and have a bunch of good athletes that in attack mode all the time.  We moved the ball so well as a team and got great, open shots all night.”

Willow Thiel added 22 points and 17 rebounds and Olivia Pilgrim dished out 7 assists.  Cora Grismer scored all ten of her points in the first half.

Perham (7-0) will face a strong Sauk Centre team on Wednesday for the Holiday Tournament championship.
