West Central Area shot 44.9% (22/49) from the field on Tuesday night as they turned in a solid team performance in their 63-42 road win over Melrose on Tuesday night. The lady Knights nailed 59.3% (16/27) of their two-point field goals and also connected on 13-of-14 (92.9%) free throws on the night.
Claire Stark led WCA with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Addison Staples contributed 13 points and 7 rebounds, and Macy Grosz chipped in with 8 points, 4 steals and 6 assists.
The lady Knights (2-4) will participate in the Pelican Rapids Holiday Tournament on Wednesday, December 28 and Thursday, December 29. Their first game will be at 4:15pm Wednesday against Battle Lake.
