“Nice win for our girls tonight,” said Wadena-Deer Creek Head Coach Jordan Cresap. “Big spark early from senior guard Ally Pavek hitting some threes. We built a solid lead and maintained our composure in the second half through some physical play. Thought we were solid defensively and rebounded the ball well. Bench play, (Jenna Dykhoff, Jada Dykhoff, and Kennedy Ness) was huge tonight!”

Madison Carsten poured in a game high 25 points, making 11-of-12 free throw attempts.  Payton Gravelle added 11 points and Addy Gravelle was also in double figures with 10.  Pavek finished with 9 points on 3 first half 3-point field goals.

Wadena-Deer Creek (5-2) will host Henning in their next game on Tuesday, January 3.
