“Our defense worked hard tonight to contest every shot and rebound,” said Rothsay Head Coach Anita Heier. “I thought every player stepped up on the defensive end with great energy and communication. I was so proud of our effort tonight. It was a back and forth game and our kids responded every time B-E made a run. It was a great win for our program.”
Madison Tillman added 8 points and 10 rebounds, and McKenzie Tillman had 5 points and 9 boards.
Rothsay (5-1) will host Underwood on Thursday.
Brandon-Evansville (1-5) is off until Friday, January 6 when they will play at Underwood in another LEC contest.
