Hawley put 80 points on the board Tuesday night as they improved to 3-1 with their third straight victory, beating Frazee 80-46.

“Frazee plays super hard and appear to be very coachable. That mixed with Coach Vigen on the sidelines means they’re going to continue to get better.  They already are showing major improvements from last season,” commented Head Coach Nathan Stoa of the Nuggets.  “They gave us fits early. We came out on our heels a bit and they took advantage. Once we got locked in on defense we were able to turn them over and take advantage of many broken floor situations.”

Sam Senske scored a game high 24 points to lead the Nuggets.  He was joined in double figures by Brevin Stoa and Noah Nelson with 17 and 12 points, respectively.

Frazee (1-4) was led by Carter Sonnenberg with 12 points and Alex Helmers with 10 points.

The Hornets will host Barnesville in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference contest on Thursday.

Hawley has a game against New Life Academy at Sartell on Thursday, December 29 at 2:45pm.
