Perham scored over 80 points for the third straight game, improving their record to 3-0 on the young season with an 81-42 victory over Park Rapids on Saturday afternoon. The Yellowjackets blistered the nets for 66% (33-50) shooting and won the rebounding battle 30-20.
Perham received a double-double from Micah Thompson (29 points, 11 assists, 9 rebounds), and Soren Anderson was also in double figures with 24 points. Anderson added 6 assists and 4 boards. Blaiz Schmidt had 8 points and 4 rebounds.
The Panthers shot just 36% (17-47) from the field. They were led by 9 points from Blake Morris. Mason Yliniemi and Noah Larson scored 7 points apiece, while Noah Morris and Caleb Arola contributed 6 points apiece.
Perham (3-0) will travel to Wadena on Tuesday night to face the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines.
