Underwood defeated Parkers Prairie 72-35 in a Little Eight Conference girls’ basketball contest on Friday night. The Rockets led 49-21 at the half. The game featured a milestone as Liz Lukken scored career point number 1,000 when she scored her 23rd point of the night with 5 minutes to go in the first half. She finished with a game high 27 points on 12-of-27 shooting.
“Congrats to Liz, she works extremely hard and deserves the recognition,” said Underwood Head Coach Brian Hovland.
Mia Blaskowski was also in double figures with 11 points. Mo Bugbee was the leader in assists with 5 and rebounds with 7.
Cora Johnson finished with 10 points to lead Parkers Prairie.
