The Perham boys’ basketball team led 54-12 at halftime on the way to a dominating 81-22 victory over Frazee on Friday night at ‘The Hive’. Perham shot 57% (32-56 from the field and made 46.7% (14-30) of their 3’s in the game. Frazee shot just 24% (10-42) from the field and hit only 1-of-21 from behind the arc.
Soren Anderson made 9-of-13 field goal attempts, leading the Yellowjackets with 21 points. He also had 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Alex Ohm and Micah Thompson finished with 15 and 14 points, respectively. Ohm also dished out 7 assists.
Leaders for Frazee were Adam Vigen and Alexander Helmers with 8 and 7 points, respectively.
Perham improved to 2-0 with the win. They will play at Park Rapids on Saturday at 3:45pm at Concordia College in Moorhead.
Frazee (1-3) will host Hawley on Tuesday night.
