Sydney has 4 years of varsity volleyball experience, was named captain in 2021 and 2022 and the last two years has received All-Conference honors.

“Sydney is a very talented setter and I’m so happy that she has decided to continue on with her athletic career at M State,” said Spartan volleyball coach Abby Crowser. “She has great court awareness and is an offensive threat when she’s up at the net. She’ll be a valuable addition to our 2023 volleyball team.”

Sydney is the daughter of Scott and Michelle Schaefer of Brandon, MN.
