Pelican Rapids pulled away from East Grand Forks early in their girls’ basketball game on Saturday, taking a 31-10 lead at halftime. The Vikings maintained their lead throughout the second half and finished with a 57-34 victory to improve their season record to 4-0.
The Vikings were led by Kelsey Isaman (8 points, 3 assists, 5 rebounds), Morgan Korf (23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals), Ellie Welch (16 points, 6 rebounds), Anna Roisum (5 assists) and Grace Backstrom (2 steals).
Pelican Rapids will play DGF in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference road game on Tuesday night and will host Perham on Friday.
