“We struggled to score in the first half against the Panthers, but once we settled in, we did a pretty good job of slowing them down,” said Battle Lake Head coach David Marso. “We did a better job of getting better looks in the second half and made a bit of a run later on in the half. The Panthers hit some key three’s late to seal the win.”
Morgan Malone led Battle Lake with 12 points and Kad Wehking had 17 points to lead the Panthers.
Parkers Prairie (3-0) will host Verndale on Tuesday night.
Battle Lake (0-4) is at Hancock on Tuesday.
