Senske Scores 31 to Lead Nuggets Past Lakers

Sam Senske poured in 31 points to lead the Hawley boys’ basketball team to a 76-70 win over Detroit Lakes on Friday night.  Senske was joined in double figures by Mason Gratton with 15 and Brevin Stoa with 13.

Oliver Quam led DL with 20 points and Ethan Carrier added 19.  Devon Berg contributed 15 for the Lakers.

Hawley (1-1) will play at Crookston on Monday and will open their home season and Heart O’ Lakes Conference season on Thursday night when they host Breckenridge.
