Pelican Rapids placed four players in double digits on Tuesday night in Park Rapids as the Vikings defeated the Panthers by the score of 67-60.

“This was a great test for us on the road tonight against a Park Rapids team that is quick and scrappy,” commented Pelican Rapids Head Coach John Gullingsrud. “They gave us problems on the defensive end as we were a step slow and didn’t stay in front of the ball very well. It was nice to see a balanced scoring effort on offense though as we did a good job of attacking the rim.”

Hunter Williams and Ian Fahje led the attack for Pelican Rapids with 16 and 15 points, respectively.  Brady Petznick added 13 and Charlie Larson ended up with 10.

Noah Larson led Park Rapids with 25 points and Noah Morris contributed 19.

Pelican Rapids (3-0) has their first home game on Friday night when the Frazee Hornets pay them a visit.
