The M State lady Spartans held Sisseton-Wahpeton to 32 points on Friday night as they picked up their third win of the season with a 49-32 decision. M State held the visitors to 20.4% (11-54) shooting on the night. The lady Spartans also struggled with their shooting, making just 26.8% (15-56) of their shots.
Lindsey Kurz recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Itzel Salazar had a team high 16 points and Emily Dehler added 10 points and 6 rebounds off the bench.
Jordyn LaBlanc paced Sisseton-Wahpeton with 15 points and 4 steals, and Madison Wells led the team with 12 rebounds and 3 assists.
M State (3-2) will face Mesabi Range at 1:00pm Saturday in Fergus Falls.
