The Fergus Falls girls’ hockey team put 31 shots on the Thief River Falls net on Friday night in their 3-0 road win over the Prowlers.  The Otters scored single goals in each period as they improved their season record to 6-2.

“We are proud of giving up only six shots tonight while still working on some breakout flaws,” stated Fergus Falls Head Coach Tim Lill.  “The girls work hard in practice and games and deserve the win.  On to East Grand Forks tomorrow.”

Hannah Johnson got the scoring started for the Otters with a first period goal, assisted by Maddie Hulter and Lydia Johnson.

In the second period, Lydia Johnson notched an unassisted goal for a 2-0 Fergus Falls lead.

Hulter’s third period insurance goal was setup by Skye Norgren.

Hulter moved into second place all time with 144 points and is also second all-time in career -assists with 67.

The Otters face East Grand Forks at 2:00pm Saturday.
