Two area divers finished in the top ten at the Class A Swim and Dive Championships at the U of M on Friday. Alexandria junior Erica Johnson placed eighth with 341.05 points and junior Brittney Lorentz of Perham-New York Mills came in ninth with 337.l55 points. Visitation was the team champion with 156 points. Alexandria came in 16th with 21 points and Perham-New York Mills was 26th with 9 points.
The Alexandria 200 medley relay team placed fourteenth in the finals on Friday with a time of 1:54.48. Grace Urke, Jisella Haskamp, Alaina Guenther and Brooklyn Millward swam the event.
Millward finished thirteenth (2:00.61) in the 200 freestyle and Haskamp came in eighth (53.52) in the 100 freestyle.
The Cardinals 400 freestyle relay team took fifteenth place with a time of 3:44.38. Guenther, Urke, Millward and Haskamp were team members.
