The Fergus Falls girls’ soccer team handed out their awards on Sunday with Tyra Skjeret and Ella Starzl sharing Offensive MVP honors and Vanessa Vaughn being named Defensive MVP. Skjeret also was named to the All-State Team, the All-Central Lakes Conference Team and was a Central Lakes Scholar Athlete along with Yana Prischmann, who was also All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Other All-Conference selections were Vaughn and Starzl, with Madi Budke and Megan Tossett named as Honorable Mention choices.
Three players shared the Most Improved award. They are Averie Tonneson, Ella Sem and Cierra Ochoa.
Rylynn Krein received the Spirit award and the Hardest Worker award. Krein, Starzl, Budke and Vaughn will serve as captains for the 2023 season.
JV Awards were as follows, Aubree Nelson (Offensive MVP), Ava Thompson (Defensive MVP, Spirit Award), Anna Sem (Most Improved) and Averie Tonneson (Hardest Worker).
