The M State lady Spartans (S#2) will open play in the Region 13B Tournament in Virginia on Friday night at 8:00pm with a match against Northland Community College (N#3) from Thief River Falls. The 6:00pm game will pit Mesabi Range (N#1) vs St. Cloud Technical and Community College (S#4). The two winners will play for the Region title on Saturday at 1:00pm.
The Region 13A Tournament will be hosted by Century College (S#1). The Wood Ducks will play the 6:00pm game Friday against Central Lakes (N#4). At 8:00pm, Rochester Community and Technical College (S#3) will battle Itasca (N#2). The two winners will play at noon on Saturday for the championship of Region13A.
The Region winners will advance to the NJCAA Division III National Volleyball Tournament November 10-12 at the National Sports Center in Rochester, Minnesota.
