Six Warriors Find the End Zone in Win Over Sebeka

Six different players scored touchdowns for Wheaton/Herman-Norcross on Wednesday night as they recorded a dominating 56-6 win over Sebeka.  Following all eight of the Warriors victories, Clint Determan successfully added the extra-point kicks.

Brayden Hofer got the scoring started with a 70 yard touchdown run and Bryant Callenius followed with a 9 yard TD run.  Brody Nachbor added a 5 yard score and Dylan Bainbridge broke free for a 42 yard touchdown run.  The first quarter ended with a 28-0 lead for the Warriors.

In the second quarter, Holden Rinke scored on a 15 yard run and Nachbor notched his second TD of the night, this time a 2-yard run.  Wheaton/Herman-Norcross took a 42-0 lead at the half.

Rinke hooked up with Tucker Blume on a 20 yard touchdown pass for the only points of the third quarter as the Warriors built their lead to 49-0.

Sebeka scored their lone TD of the night on a 12 yard pass in the fourth quarter.  Holden Rinke responded by returning the ensuing kickoff 75 yards for the final Wheaton/Herman-Norcross touchdown of the game.

Rinke completed 7-of-8 passes for 94 yards and Hofer led the rushing attack with 70 yards on his only carry of the night.  Caden Olsen caught 3 passes for 35 yards.  Rinke had a team high 6 tackles, including two tackles for loss.

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross is the top seed in the Section 4 9-Man playoffs.  They will host Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley at 6:00pm Tuesday in Wheaton.
