New York Mills defeated Underwood 2-1 to claim the championship of the Underwood Volleyball Tournament on Thursday. Third place went to Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg with a 2-1 win over Sebeka. Verndale finished fifth, beating Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 2-1, and Wheaton/Herman-Norcross took the seventh place match from Ashby, 2-0.
