The M State volleyball team dropped their second straight match when they traveled to St. Cloud on Wednesday night and fell to the Cyclones in four sets, 25-21, 25-20, 16-25, 25-23. The loss drops the lady Spartans to 12-2 against MCAC Southern Division teams with two matches remaining in the regular season.
Leading the way for M State were Faith Marion (12 kills, 15/15 serving, 1 ace, 12 digs, 1 solo block), Kaleigh Sip (8 kills, 6 digs), Kaia Strom (8 kills, 34 set assists, 14/14 serving, 1 ace), Emily Dehler (8 kills, 10/11 serving, 1 solo block), Avery Wanner (24/26 serving, 6 aces, 27 digs), Kendra Emery (14 digs, 14/16 serving, 5 set assists), Laci Strom (10 digs, 6/8 serving, 2 aces) and Brooke Hovland (5 kills, 1 solo block).
The lady Spartans will host Riverland at 6:30pm Friday and Rochester at noon on Saturday.
