Cowgirls Outlast Rebels in 5 Set Match to Improve to 18-4

Breckenridge ran their season record to 18-4 with a hard fought 3-2 (25-22, 25-23, 23-25, 24-26, 15-12) win over Heart O’ Lakes Conference rival Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Tuesday night.

Addie Twidwell broke the blocks per match record for the Cowgirls, scoring 9 kill blocks and surpassing Ana Erickson’s 5.5 kill blocks per match average which was set last season.  Twidwell added 10 kills and 13 digs.

Abby Johnson had a huge match, recording 24 kills and 32 digs while assisting on 4 blocks.  Ivy Ovsak had 7 kills and Mattea Vig added 6.  Katlyn Kaehler (31), Parker Yaggie (28), Kennedy Schuler (25) and Kelsey Ceroll (21) joined Johnson and Twidwell with double digit digs.

 Yaggie (24) and Ceroll (20) combined for 44 set assists in the match.  Hailee Hanson, Kaehler, and Ceroll each delivered a pair of serving aces.
