The Fergus Falls Otter Girls Swim and Dive team fought hard against Brainerd Tuesday night but lost by a score of 104 to 78. “This was the Otters last home meet of the season, and the girls came out strong,” said Head Coach Rachel Cox. The Otters will now move on to their championship season starting with the Central Lakes Conference meet on October 29.
Estee VerSteeg had another fabulous night of swimming for the Otters. She placed first in the 200 IM and in the 500 Freestyle with an impressive time of 5:43.99. Aisling Cox had a first place finish in the 100 backstroke, and Alexis Wellman had second place finishes in both the 200 and 100 freestyle.
