DGF went 64 yards on 6 plays, scoring on a 6 yard pass from Owen Leach to Thomas Thureen on their first possession of the night and adding a Hayden Hauf extra point kick for a 7-0 lead. They then scored on a 30 yard run by Nicholas Waale to make it 13-0 after the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Brody Friend ran the ball into the end zone form 30 yards out and Hauf booted the PAT for a 20-0 advantage. Leach then hit Waale with a 38 yard touchdown pass and Hauf was once again good on the extra point as the Rebels increased their lead to 27-0. A 28 yard TD pass from Leach to Drew Sheeley extended the lead to 33-0 and a 38 yard fumble recovery was returned for a touchdown by Friend. Hauf tacked on the extra point for a 40-0 halftime lead.
The final TD of the night came on a 2 yard run by Casey Macziewski in the fourth quarter. Hauf’s extra point kick put the final score at 47-0.
DGF had 416 yards of total offense on the night with Jordan Summers running for 152 on 15 carries, Friend rushing for 71 yards on 6 touches and Waale recording 62 yards on 7 rushing attempts. Leach completed 4-of-8 passes for 83 yards.
Griffin Babolian ran for 52 yards on 12 carries for the Otters.
Fergus Falls will close out their regular season with a Wednesday game in East Grand Forks.
DGF will host Detroit Lakes in their regular season finale, also on Wednesday night.
