Johnson Sets Career Kill Record as Cowgirls Defeat Hornets

Breckenridge senior Abby Johnson broke the career kill record for the Cowgirls on Thursday in their 3-0 (25-11, 25-17, 25-18) HOL win over Frazee.  Johnson had 10 kills in the match, giving her 1029 career kills, surpassing the previous mark of 1022 set in 2021 by Camryn Kaehler.  Johnson also had 10 digs and 4 ace serves.

Other stat leaders for the Cowgirls were Sydni Roberts with 18 digs, Kelsey Ceroll with 20 set assists, Parker Yaggie with 12 set assists, Addie Twidwell with 6 kills, 3 solo blocks and 2 aces, Mattea Vig with 6 kills and Katlyn Kaehler with 4 kills and 10 digs.

Breckenridge (17-4) will travel to face DGF on Tuesday and will participate in the Fergus Falls Tournament on Thursday to close out their regular season schedule.
