“Our girls played well we just couldn’t quite finish,” stated Fergus Falls Head Coach Sabrina Noon. “Our front row play was strong throughout the games. Our girls were adjusting to their hitters and we had some good blocks on their tough hitters. Working on our passes to get a more consistent offense from our hitters. Overall good hard fought battle from our girls.”

The Otters were led by Emma Stans (10 digs, 4 aces), Jenna Carlson (10 digs, 9 kills, 2 assisted blocks, 1 solo block), Avery Knutson (10 digs), Karyssa Eberle (14 set assists, 6 digs, 2 kills, 1 solo block, 2 assisted blocks), Ariana Noplos (6 kills, 2 assisted blocks), Bella Anderson (2 aces, 3 kills, 1 solo block, 3 assisted blocks) and Randi Walls (4 digs, 6 set assists).

The Otters participated in the Alexandria Tournament last Saturday with the following results.

Lost to Horace 2-0 (25-17, 25-15), lost to Ada-Borup 2-0 (25-21, 25-17), lost to Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 2-1 (23-25, 25-11, 17-15) and beat Minnewaska Area 2-1 (12-25, 25-19, 15-13).
