Otter Girls Finish 2nd at Minnewaska Area CC Invite
The Fergus Falls girls’ varsity finished in 2nd place on Tuesday at the Minnewaska Area Cross Country Invitational in Glenwood. Top individuals were Cassie Wellman with a 3rd place finish and Naomi Dummer in tenth place. “This was a new meet for us,” said Head Coach Niki Welde. “None of our kids were familiar with this course. We were still able to find a great deal of success on it. Through all of our levels we had kids on the medal stand and lots of great season best times on a challenging course.”

Violet McConn won the JV race and Brynn Blondeau was sixth. In the Middle School race the Otters finished in the top four spots with Lydia Uggerud, Alana Higbee, Olivia Budke and Ali Bredenberg.
