Wheaton/Herman-Norcross took a 3-0 (25-2, 25-21, 25-10) loss to a strong Hornets volleyball team in Henning on Monday night.  Henning served up 12 aces on the way to the victory and took advantage of multiple errors by the Warriors.

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross was led by Brylie Schultz (5 kills), Zaundra Determan (6 kills, 1 solo block, 1 block assist), Bria Lundquist (3 kills), Megyn Kelly (8/8 serving, 2 aces, 5 digs), Reagan Spilde (6/6 serving, 2 aces, 4 digs), Jordyn Perry (8 set assists, 7 digs), Ashlyn McCalip (4 set assists, 7 digs) and Anna Bright (16 digs).

“Henning has a nice team and we couldn’t match them,” said Warriors Head Coach Ann Dreke.  “Our second game we played together and showed what we could do, but we couldn’t make it last and lost in 3 sets.  No time to dwell though, we play Hancock at home Tuesday.  It is our breast cancer awareness night and we are asking everyone to wear pink to show their support!”

No Henning information was received.
