“It was a fun win against a very strong defensive Parkers Prairie team,” commented Underwood Head Coach Breck Grove. “We were ready to play a tough team and were happy to jump out to an early lead in both sets 1 & 2. Set 3 was all Parkers. We were frustrated by their big block relentless defense. Their crowd was loud and the momentum was all theirs in set 3. It was great to see our team come back after an intimidating loss in set 3.”
Stat leaders for the Rockets were Mily Albjerg (11 digs 1 block 6 kills 9/9 serving 1 ace), Alayna Evavold (2 blocks, 2 assist blocks, 8 kills), Becca Johnson (13/13 serving 19 digs), Brooklyn Christianson (10 digs, 8/8 serves, 1 ace, 6 kills), Liz Lukken (7 kills, 18/20 serving, 1 ace, 8 digs), Jorja Gabrielson (3 kills, 16/16 serves, 2 aces) and Kallyn Grove (3 kills, 27 assists, 19/19 serves 1 ace, 4 digs).
