Rose connected with Jackson Koehl on a 43-yard pass for the first TD of the game and then hit Titus Bjerketvedt with the two-point conversion pass. He followed that score with his interception return and then got the ball to Koehl for the two-point conversion. Koehl hauled in a one yard pass from Rose to start the second quarter and Rose ran for the two-point conversion as the Owls increased their lead to 24-0. A 9-yard run by Rose and a Rose to Bjerketvedt conversion pass put the score at 32-0 and the first half ended with a 40-0 Hancock lead after a 53 yard pass from Rose to Koehl and another Rose two-point run. His final TD pass was 40 yard toss.
