We got nice wins tonight from Ruby Ellison and Karley Braeger in her first singles match of the year.  Our first doubles team of Ashtyn Lill and Cyntreya Lockett also picked up a three-set victory.  Overall, however, we were kind of flat.  As a whole, we weren't crisp enough on our groundstrokes and really gave our opponents way too many chances to win points on easy shots or our mistakes.  We'll regroup and try again tomorrow.

2. Ruby Leach (E) defeated Leila Nasri (FF) 6-2, 6-3.

3. Ruby Ellison (FF) defeated Bryn Hanson (E) 6-1, 6-1.

4. Karley Braeger (FF) defeated Emma Abbey (E) 6-0, 6-2.

Doubles:
1. Cyntreya Lockett/Ashtyn Lill (FF) defeated Lila Rothenberger/Erin Bowman (E) 6-6, 2-6, 6-2.

2. Kate Cantera/Maddie Petrovich (E) defeated Hannah Anderson/Hattie Fullhart 5-7, 6-2, 7-5.

3. Karlee Walsh/Kaitlin Polley (E) defeated Kezi Hartwell/Kylie King (FF) 6-0, 6-4. 

The Otters host Sartell at 4:30 on Tuesday in another CLC and section 8AA matchup.
