The Alexandria boys’ soccer team hosted the Sartell Sabres on Monday evening.  The Cardinals were looking forward to this match as the Sabres were the only team they tied with all of last season, not once, but twice!  The desire was strong to find a victory in the matchup and the Cardinals were able to secure it with the lone goal coming in the 25th minute of play when Dylan Hendricks sent a free kick inside the box where Otto Anderson was able to score a goal with a header finish.
