Alexandria posted a 3-2 girls’ soccer victory over Little Falls on Thursday at the Belle Prairie Soccer Fields.  This was a rematch from the 8AA Section Final last year which Alexandria won, 1-0.

The Flyers bounced back when Reese Becker connected on a give-and-go with Grace Cooper who found the back of the net at the 67 minute mark.  Kendal Swantek then converted a penalty kick after a handball call in the penalty area with 3 minutes left.  The Flyers pushed the pace the final 3 minutes, but were unable to find the equalizer.

Little Falls keeper Ana Steadman had 23 saves on 26 shots in the game, 13 in the first half and 10 in the second half.
