The Pelican Rapids boys’ cross country team returns five letter winners from their 2021 team. Steve Maresh is in his fifteenth year as Head Coach and will be assisted by Logan Knorr and Jake Januszewski. The Vikings compete in the always tough Heart O’ Lakes Conference and in Section 8A.
Returners include sophomore Charlie Larson, who had a tremendous freshman season, finishing fourth in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference meet, third in the Section 8A meet and eleventh in the MSHSL Class A State meet.
Joining Larson as returning varsity letter winners are seniors Connor Larson, Philip Dykhoff, Brady Petznick and Parker Sanchez.
