Leading hitters for Fergus Falls were Ben Swanson (2-3, 2R), Isaac Johnson (2-3) and Leighton Buckmeier (1-1).
Post 30 scored 3 runs in each of the first two innings. “That was more than enough for Fronning, who was very efficient,” stated Post 30 Head Coach Trevor Larson. “Carston worked ahead early and often and let his defense make plays behind him. Bo Bring made a nice, diving play in left field, and our infield turned in several tough plays. Our energy level was much better today after a down day the game before. Carston works quickly and keeps you on your toes defensively. He doesn’t walk many hitters and will always give you a good chance of working deep into ball games. I want to thank the Legion for allowing our team the opportunity to stay over and play in a fun tournament like this. The time together spent with teammates and friends on overnight trips are priceless.”
Fergus Falls finishes up regular season play this coming week with road trips to Wadena and Alexandria on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
