The Perham Yellowjackets launched three 2-run homers on Tuesday in an 11-4 victory over Fergus Falls.  Perham collected 10 hits in the game and held the Otters to only 4 hits.  Starting pitcher Austin Aanenson (4.2IP, 1H, 1ER, 4BB, 4K) earned the win and Logan Pulju (2.1IP, 2H, 1ER, 0BB, 2K) finished up on the mound.

The Yellowjackets got off to a fast start as they jumped to a 2-0 lead on a two-run blast from catcher Ben Shumansky in the first inning.  A two-run double by Logan Pulju (3-4, 2 2B, HR, 4RBI, R) in the fourth put the score at 4-0.  The Yellowjackets added an unearned run in the fourth for a 5-0 lead.

The Otters got on the board in the fifth when Cole Zierden drew a one-out walk, moved to third on a Carter Thielke (2-4, 2 2B, 2RBI) double and scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Carston Fronning.  The hit by Thielke was the first of the day for Fergus Falls.  Perham answered with four in the bottom of the fifth, highlighted by a two-run shot by Pulju and a RBI single from Blaiz Schmidt, increasing their lead to 9-1.  In the Fergus Falls sixth, Andrew Johnson (2-3, 2B, BB, R) doubled with one out and scored on a Perham error.  A second Perham fielding miscue put runners on first and second for Thielke, who delivered another two-base hit, scoring both runners and cutting the lead to 9-4.  Perham first baseman Rian Solberg clouted his fifth round tripper of the season with a runner on base in the sixth, kicking the lead up to 11-4.

Fergus Falls will host Thief River Falls on Thursday and will play DGF in a road game on Friday to end their regular season schedule.
