Parkers Prairie fell to a strong Upsala Swanville Area team on Thursday, 11-0.  “The Patriots are a solid team and it showed as they hit the ball and played well,” said Parkers Prairie Head Coach Derek Denny. “The Panther hitters also struggled against their ace, who will be one of the better pitchers we see this year.”

Nolan Steidl was able to single and Dylan Debilzen ripped a triple, but that was it for the Parkers Prairie offense.  David Revering threw a runner out at second base and Cole Gesell made a nice catch in left field, adjusting on a well hit ball.

The Panthers also lost the JV game, 9-8.  Kayden Leininger drove a ball off the fence and Seth Sansness had a double and a single.  Isaac Grabo was able to throw out a runner trying to steal second base.

The Junior High won their first game 3-0 and lost game two, 7-6.  “I’m being told by the boys that Trevor Rounds hit ‘an absolute nuke’ in this game,” added Denny.
