The West Central Area softball team collected a pair of wins over Benson on Tuesday, winning 6-4 and 10-3. KJ Nibbe delivered a walk-off double to win game one and the lady Knights collected nine hits with Nibbe, Claire Stark and Addison Staples all contributing multi-hit efforts to complete the sweep with a victory in game two.
Nibbe (7IP, 3H, 4R, 8K, 0BB) was the winning pitcher in game one. She also had a home run in the third inning, highlighting her 3-for-4 day at the plate. Alayna Boyd had two hits for WCA.
Stark (1IP, 0R, 0H, 1K, 1BB) was the winning pitcher in relief of Nibbe (3IP, 0R, 0H, 5K, 1BB). The Knights had three players with at least two stolen bases, led by Staples with 3 bags.
