Christian Norby delivered a pair of doubles and Ty Kargar also had a two-base hit in the first game. Brett Engelmeyer was the winning pitcher with one inning of one-hit relief. Norby (2-5, 2R, 2 RBI), Cal Schmitz (2-3, 2R), Noah Aufdengarten (2-3, R, 2 RBI) and Max Brommerich (2-4, 2R, RBI) were the top hitters for M State.
In game two, Mike Short, Norby, Jackson Martin and Brommerich each had one hit.
M State will play at Anoka-Ramsey on Saturday and will host the Golden Rams on Sunday.
