Rylynn Krein had the only hit, a double, for Fergus Falls in game one of their softball double header against the St. Cloud Crush on Tuesday.  The Crush posted a 10-0 win in a five-inning contest and went on to sweep the Otters by winning the second game 15-4 in six innings.  St. Cloud had 12 hits and capitalized on four Fergus Falls errors in game two.

Krein took the loss in the first game, striking out five, walking seven and giving up four hits and five earned runs.  Lola Jacobs fanned 9 Otters and didn’t issue a walk in five innings in the circle for St. Cloud.  Olivia Laidenbach and Mattie Vought each drove in two runs for the Crush.

Kacey Fredrickson (3.1 IP, 4H, 6R, 1K) took the loss in game two.  The Otters had eight hits with Karyssa Eberle, Kellen Frigaard and Rylynn Krein leading the attack with two hits each.  Eberle also had three of the Otters 9 stolen bases.  Ally Breidenbach went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead St. Cloud and also stole 3 bases.  Klaire Kiffemeyer (6IP, 6K, 4R, 8H) was the winning pitcher for the Crush.
