Ashby/Brandon-Evansville participated in the Concordia Indoor Track and Field Meet on Friday in Moorhead. The ABE girls’ took seventh place out of ten teams with 42 points and the boys’ placed eleventh with 17 points.
“This was our second indoor meet of the week at Concordia, so I'm sure we will be dealing with some sore legs this weekend,” said Ashby/Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Zachary Traphagen. “But it is so beneficial to get meets like this under our belts early in the season, especially with the uncertainty of Minnesota spring weather. We definitely have a lot of room to grow, but as a coaching staff we were very pleased with the performances of the athletes at both of these meets. Really, both of these meets served as two excellent practice opportunities for our kids to get on actual track facilities. It's also a huge plus that we come out of these two indoor meets fairly healthy.”
