Returning players include Maddy Schjerve (P/2B), Abby Tysdal (1B), Mackenna Kehoe (CF/C), Sara Butler (RF), Hannah Scherr (OF), Emma Bartels (SS/2B) and Madi Missling (P/1B).

“This is a strong returning core of players that battled through last year,” explained King.  “All of them are better players this year.  We will be a much better fielding team and hopefully that will make our pitching stronger.  I also look for our bats to get better with more experience.  The freshmen have really shown a great work ethic and good energy.”

Freshmen players include Mackenzie Foss (SS/CF), Lydia Baker (3B/1B), Carly Fuentes (C), Makayla Huus (OF), Mikayla Geiser (2B) and Anissa Antonsen (3B).

Monte Fredrickson will assist King.

Coach King says St. Cloud Tech and Anoka-Ramsey will again be the teams to beat in the Southern Division of the MCAC.
