The Wheaton/Herman-Norcross boys’ basketball team recorded a 73-41 win over Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley on Friday night.  The Warriors took a 58-26 halftime lead and both teams managed just 15 second half points.  The Warriors shot 42% from the floor and CGB hit just one-third of their field goal attempts.

“It was a fun night and a good night to have many different honors,” said Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Head Coach Jordon Roos. “We got to celebrate our seniors Zach Braaten and Maysen Kleinschmidt and thank them for all the time and hard work they have put in. We also got to thank the parents for all their support they give to their boys and work behind the scenes they do.”

Clint Determan poured in 35 points and secured 12 rebounds to register a double-double.  Dylan Bainbridge also had a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists.  He came up with 3 steals for the Warriors.

Determan notched a few milestones during the week, including his 500th rebound.  He scored his 1000th career point on Friday and became the all-time WHN steals leader at 167-plus.

Bainbridge now has 333 career assists which is also an all-time WHN record!
