“Tonight, we came out flat and didn’t do the things we need to do to be successful,” said Hawley Head Coach Nathan Stoa. “That changed after halftime. We were much more active on defense and on offense. That led to easier baskets. NCE/UH plays very hard and they were a load for us early. I really felt Carson Brew was a spark plug for us tonight. He gave us, as always, great defensive energy and a deep threat on offense, but tonight there was just a bit extra n how he attacked their defense.”
Brew and Sam Senske each scored 13 points. Mason Gratton led the Nuggets with 15, Brevin Stoa added a dozen and Brady Gratton had 10.
Keian Wibbels led the Titans with 27 points and Aidan Flaten added 10.
